About
A record book, kept properly.
Most clubs keep their decisions in a binder, a shared folder or a former secretary’s inbox. Then someone asks when the dues date changed, and nobody can find it.
What So Moved does
It gives the secretary one private minute book: meetings, the items taken up in order, each motion with its mover, seconder and count, and the actions people agreed to. It works out the quorum and each motion’s result by the rule the club sets, numbers the motions, prints the minutes, and keeps a register of every motion that can be searched later.
What it does not do
It does not run your meeting, hold electronic votes, collect dues, send email or publish anything. It is not legal or parliamentary advice and does not decide what your bylaws mean. It has no staff reading your book.
Who makes it
So Moved is built and run by WeldonPC (weldonpc.com), an IT company in Garfield Heights, Ohio. The address clubcity.net is the site’s home. It is a separate site from clubcity.org.
Not affiliated
So Moved is not connected with any club, association, or the authors or publishers of any book of rules of order.
